Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action is a nonprofit trade association serving Down syndrome associations. DSAIA represents more than 1,000 leaders in the Down syndrome community representing over 80 organizations. Our members range from brand new start-ups to 40-year veteran organizations in the United States and abroad.
Our mission: Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action helps its members develop their organizational capacity.
Our vision: Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action envisions a future in which persons with Down syndrome have access to the resources they need to meet their potential.
DSAIA's purpose continues to be to serve our affiliates through collaboration, resource sharing, and networking.
DSAIA will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990. Copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying and postage.
DSAIA members may request a copy of the latest balance sheet as well as minutes of board meetings.
